Our Approach

We believe that no two businesses are alike, so our approach is not one size fits all. Through our experience with small businesses in over 50 different industries, we’ve narrowed down our focus to a few key components which can predict a businesses success in the short and long-term.

That’s why we take an ample amount of time at the onset of our relationship to really get to know your business and you as the owner. We want to maximize the areas that are working well for your business and bring to light areas for improvement. During this discovery phase, we work on developing a customized roadmap which we will use as a guide for our journey together.

From there, we get to work implementing new solutions to improve efficiency, reviewing all of your financial information for accuracy, and taking the time to strengthen our bond between us as your trusted financial advisor. We constantly monitor our progress and compare the results against our roadmap to ensure that no stone is left unturned.

Hi there, I’m Kelly, an avid small business enthusiast. I’m also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA®) and received my master’s degree in accounting from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. I began my career working on the taxation of privately held companies and high net worth individuals at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP before launching Well Business Consulting back in 2017.

My passion lies in helping small business owners navigate the unchartered territory of entrepreneurship. I have first hand experience with many of the trials and tribulations of owning your own company, both as a business owner myself and through the lens of my client’s journeys as well. This is why the lotus flower in our logo has great deal of significance for me. It finds it’s origins in the East and has a strong connection to the idea of unwavering faith. The lotus flower is known to be able to bloom each morning in the midst of muddy and murky waters, coming back as beautiful as it was last seen. It is unwilling to accept defeat and it’s resilience is inspiring. This flower symbolizes enlightenment and unwavering faith in the midst of challenges.

This is the perfect analogy for entrepreneurship. There is nothing like the resilience of a small business owner and their determination to make their dreams a reality. I am honored to partner with my clients on their individual journey. I’ve made it my mission to help my clients seek the greatness which exists within each of them. When I'm not immersed in the small business universe, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, with my husband, David, and our fur baby Grace. I’m also a wellness enthusiast in my private life and believe that simplicity is the key to building a sustainable lifestyle.
